Update on Twitch Reruns and Premieres

As of Friday, September 14, Reruns and Premieres will only be available once you become an Affiliate

You’ve recently started a Rerun or Premiere on your channel, and we wanted to provide an update on this feature.

As of Friday, September 14, Reruns and Premieres will only be available once you become an Affiliate. Check out our help page to learn more.

Why are we making this change?
While Reruns and Premieres are popular among large streamers and event pages on Twitch, we found that growing streamers are not benefiting from these tools in terms of viewership or progress towards Affiliate status.

We want to reassure you that Reruns and Premieres do not count towards the requirements to become an Affiliate and this change will not impact your growth on Twitch.

How can I grow my channel?
To make the most of your streaming time and help you succeed, we want to share advice on how to improve your stream and grow your community. Instead of ending your stream with a Rerun, try ending your stream by Raiding a streamer around your size.

Updates regarding Stream Keys

Twitch cuevanapelis24, Out of an abundance of caution, we have reset all stream keys. You can get your new stream key ">here . Depending on which broadcast software you use, you may need to manually update your software with this new key to start your next stream: Twitch Studio, Streamlabs, Xbox, PlayStation and Twitch Mobile App users should not need to take any action for your new key to work. OBS users who have connected their Twitch account should also not need to take any action. OBS users that have not connected their Twitch account to OBS will need to manually copy their stream key from their Twitch Dashboard and paste it into OBS. For all others, please refer to specific setup instructions for your software of choice.
